addiction

currently addicted to: pro evolution soccer 2009

yes, people who know me know i'm not a computer geek nor a gaming nerd...
but i have to admit, i am pretty addicted to the the newly released PES09.
In the game, I'm able to do bicycle kicks, dribbling...even back flips...and all those sorts of stunts i'm never gonna master in real life. yes, its sweet

finally persuaded dad to let me book the flight back to hong kong for xmas. Taking cathay pacific instead of continental this time. looking forward to seeing family and all my bros soon.

Snow?
Yep, it's snowing in syracuse.
snow in october isn't anything special, i mean... we do have the nickname of "snow city" right?
for your own information, Syracuse actually is the winner of the Golden Snowball Award among upstate cities, the record is 192.1". wow.

Living in a place like this, I'm glad i like snow.

welcome home, CARMELO!!!

Went to watch the NBA preseason game between Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns at the Carrier dome at cuse. It's a really special event for us Syracuse people because Carmelo Anthony, the captain of the Nuggets once played for the Syracuse Orange... and as a freshmen, he brought Syracuse's first and only NCAA Championship home! Our hero is back home.

Denver Nuggets are the team in blue, key players are CarMELO Anthony and Iverson.
Phoenix Suns are the orange, Shaq Oneil is the captain, along with Nash

Whenever the ball ends on Carmelo's hands, the crowd goes crazy, including me

Babe didn't beg me to leave ONCE, that really surprises me.

4.4 seconds on the clock, alot can happen in such a short period of time.
Phoenix got really close to equalizing, but Denver scored again and secured the win.Thank god

Great game.
Not to mention intense.

The game was a nice conclusion to this busy week and it definitely helped me relax!

It has been the busiest week since coming back to syracuse this semester. Finally, finishing most of the stuff, structure assignment and econ exam remains. Structures, I'm about to finish in the next hour; Econ, I really don't know what to say about it.

When it comes to elasticity, supply and demand, prices, division of labor, factor market... etc it just sounds so easy, something i've always considered as "common sense".. but how do i represent this "common sense" in economic terms? I don't know, i guess the answer will appear soon, but first i need a triple shot coffee from starbucks and a few more hours of studying.

i know why i'm an architecture student. I simply love drafting and building models.

Or i just don't like to read.

It's 3:00 am and I'm still studying for econ exam.
Seems like caffeine has no affect on me, the only affect the triple shot has given me is a stomach full of milk and back pain, guess i'm just not a coffee person.

Our last project, I find it really nice when all of our projects are hung up on the wall. Mine is the 5th from the left.

It's a relief model of a landscape by the way.

hectic week coming up

masquerade party at acacia last night. haven't really partied much this semester, but its always good to party and go crazy once in a while. never really get drunk in frat parties though, i guess no one wants to get drunk with beer.

the busiest week of sophomore year is about to come. Basically, exams, assignments and projects from all of my courses are crammed this week. well, good luck to myself and all u archi students out there.

recent

haha.. so this weekly thing kinda turned out to be a monthly thing.

anyways here's wts been going on.

Sophomore year architecture has been fairly chilled, with an exception of archi theory, which has essays due every 2 weeks that are pains in asses. Unfortunetely, I failed the first one, but had a come back and did pretty well in the second one (thank god they're gonna scratch the lowest score) Arch studio has been fairly easy, although alot of model building but still no all nighters required up to now. Structures has been alright, I'm amused that our group actually works on the assignments ahead of time, unlike last year, when we crammed all the hwk on the last day. My electives: Econ and Chinese has been chilled, and guess what... I haven't skipped classes! (well at least not alot) definetely give my self a thumbs up for that, since do i have the reputation of "skipper" here in cuse, somehow.

finally installed leopard on my mac. so far so good

school of architecture finally moved back home to slocum hall. Goodbye to good old warehouse, finally no more bus rides, but sadly, no more stir fry
and angus burgers.

currently enjoying a midnight snack at wendy's (not the fastfood chain) and watching some lousy tv show. busy week coming up, type later.
