life is full of challenges...
sometimes, a bit too many.
i guess im not qualified to bitch about it too much.

im sorry
I'm sorry for not being the ideal son.
I'm sorry for not being the ideal boyfriend.
I'm sorry for not being the ideal friend.
I'm sorry for not being the ideal christian.
99% of the time i think i'm a good person, living a good life.
but that 1% is just enough to get me thinking...
that i ain't what i appear to be.
why is it so hard to satisfy everyone? who am i trying to satisfy? i'm so lost.

its summer again
It has been quite some time since I wrote my last entry, again and again thanks to laziness, who always manages to kick in and screw things up.
I am currently working at Henderson land group as a project assistant. Other than getting to work at the tallest building in hong kong, earning a few thousand bucks, free lunch, free afternoon tea and occasional presentations from world class architects, i don't know what else is good about this job. My main work objective each day is: sit. Haven't been too busy at work, seems like my bosses either don't trust me enough, or they just don't have enough work to spare for me. What is worse is it seems like I'm getting a wrong image of my future. Last year and this years working expereince has given me a false impression: money is easy to make. All i need to do is show up, sit there and a few thousand hk dollars is earned. This is so wrong. There is absolutely no chance for an architect to live a life like that. In fact, it is probably the exact opposite: long hours and a shitty pay. I guess I can't bitch about life too much, since I'm lucky enough to find something to do this summer. Definitely should work on being more blessful.
Since I started working 2 weeks after arriving hong kong, seems like my summer has been busy and tiring. Not alot of fun is happening yet, hopefully this will change soon.
Was planning to achieve quite alot this summer: ice hockey, saxophone, 3d modelling course, volunteering. So far, only 1/4 has been actually happening. Oh did i mention I'm picking up the old hockey stick and playing for the johnwing team in the hong kong amateur hockey league. I have to confess i played pretty darn shitty last sunday. My excuse is not having the chance to practice throughout these 3 years. And obviously the lack of exercise has not helped. Planning to take some hockey classes during the week, hopefully I will get back on track soon.
Time, as always, flies. 1/3 of it has already passed, hopefully the fun will kick in soon.
