architecture?

Half way into second year of architecture, I kind of feel like a philosopher instead an architect. I've realized that architects (or archi profs) like to relate everything to architecture.

In the past year and half, I've designed or studied architecture based on analyzing paintings, old school projectors, the internet, lenses, stacking of books, fracture of bones, asteroid impacts, sheering of wood, keychains, websites...etc It seems that EVERYTHING in the world is tied to architecture. All this gets me thinking, are we actually that important? or are we just extremely good at bullshitting?

How does a fruit cake relate to Gehry's masterpiece?

see for yourself.
